Labels without adhesive bleeding for more safety during automatic identification
The product line of CLT-labels (Clear Liner Technology) is produced with an innovative method for label production and has been especially been developed for the field of auto-apply applications, but can also be applied for other usages.
Approximately 95 percent of all auto-apply problems result from the "overcutting" of labels and from the leakage of glue, the so called "adhesive bleeding".
The label material has been especially been developed for automatic applications. Even at high temperatures the adhesive bleeding is prevented - a smooth flow is guaranteed.
Frequent "Overcutting" and its consequences:
• Adhesive bleeding during application: Thereby the labels can possibly stick together with the back of the liner
• Disruption of the liner: When winding on the applicator or feeder the liner is always stretched and does possibly tear at the weakest position (frequently there, where the adhesive is bleeding).
The mentoined problems often involve machinery downtimes and unplanned time of non-use, what is synonymous with a loss of earnings and productivity.
With CLT-labels without "Overcutting" and without adhesive-bleeding BRADY as only label producer is able, to offer a special product for these difficult applications. With that product approximately 95 percent of all auto-apply problems disappear, downtimes will be eliminated and costs are saved.
