Wax ribbons are mainly used for paper labels, where razor-sharp texts, barcodes and graphics are printed on rough surfaces. Scratch- and wipe resistance is lower compared to ribbons with more resin quanity. These ribbons are situated in the cheaper price section and designed for the print with lower printing temperatures and higher printing speed.
